Hope you all had a good xmas/new years!

Its been a while since i updated this thing, what has changed since last time? Well i've started Sixth form which is pretty fun but its a helluva lot of work at times, same for everyone though. A lot has changed really, so much that i can't write it all down! But a new year isnt a time to be thinking to much about the previous one, I havn't really set myself any goals as such, i'll probably think of something, i tend to just have a general "get better at everything" thing going on, which works, no goals though. But thinking on my feet i'll set one now which is to "Work Hard!" which is what i'll do, i plan to push myself especially in art and that whole department. If i manage to balance this out with funsies then that would be pretty good i reckon!

Well today, my Exposé 5 came. It is absolutely amazing, some incredibly talented artists are featured in it, pretty inspiring stuff. Great book, go get one! [link]

Not long until my exams :/ i really need to be doing more revision, i say more, i should actually start.

Still painting though, trying to take a bit more time over pieces and that. I dont find my recent stuff all too exciting really, but you know what they say "Ideas are easy, making them real is hard!" very true

Im never short on inspiration though, fueled by some of these guys, go enjoy their work!

Im really getting into painting and drawing again, more digital painting though. However i'm doing loads more sketching which is quite refreshing!
Anyway keep dropping by everyone! You never know what you might find I might start to post some of my speedpaintings too.

I was also planning on doing some concept art for some made up movie of mine haha, something similair to 28 Days later. So if you have any ideas feel free to share them!

Hey everybody, Happy New Year!

I don't have a resolution as such, i never really make one, i guess i just try to think optomistic and try hard, its the same story every year.

Here at Howie-Central there have been some changes, regarding artwork.
I've thought about things, mainly the many styles of digital artwork. I'm dropping some, they will be everything but Digital Painting. I'm sorry to those of you who watched me because of styles other than digital painting. The reason i have made the change is that I don't feel like i can do it very well, things at my standard in say 3d art is learnable in a day, also i just don't find it interesting, you could say i'm bored of it!
But It is more about my 'quest' to get good at Digital Painting, I feel that it is the one style that will get me somewhere, that i can use, for others this is different, but for ME, its the only one with prospects. Furthermore it is the one that i enjoy the most! What could be better!?

I may put some photography up sometime, if i'm ever really happy with something!

As you may have noticed i am doing more and more digital paintings. I have not stopped photography but i have reached a problem, i spend a lot of time and effort on my digital paintings and so if i was to post some photography i feel my paintings would not get the attention i want for them. So by now you may have thought you have seen the end of my photographical existence here on dA. But you would be wrong! i have made an account i shall now dedicate to photography, and you can find it here
